Kansas City

Last weekend we went up to Kansas City for the kids to help their cousin Ross celebrate his 10th bday. Before we left Peyton had his last football game, then we hit the road to go to the party. The kids had a great time and got to see Aunt Ashley, too!

Girls Night In!

Last weekend Todd went camping with some friends from church, and Peyton had a sleepover birthday party, so it was a girls night! The girls got their nails painted and some cute stickers put on them. Kelsey is showing hers off, and Dani is letting hers dry on the couch. We had a great time together, but did miss the boys.

Day off!

This week was parent teacher conferences, so Peyton and Kelsey were out of school Thursday and Friday. Dani had school Thursday and she thought she was so cool to be going and they weren't! Friday Todd took the day off and we went to Exploration Place. The kids had a great time in the castle, playing with toys, flying planes, and the "scoop with poop" display. Their favorite was being inside of a bubble that they got to make themselves!

Peyton's football game

Peyton had a football game this morning, and they just barely lost! He did make 2 great catches and recovered a short kickoff. This is a picture of his first catch! (He's #18 and the defender is in the air on top of him)

Fall Festival

Last weekend was fall festival, and the girls entered the bike and trike decorating contest. Dani won first prize for most original! Kelsey enjoyed getting to decorate her bike with her friend Julia. Peyton got his grades up just in time to spend the night with a friend, and ride on the the football float. Don't feel bad, I have no idea where Peyton is on the float either!

Rain!!

Last Friday, September 12th we had over 10" of rain in less than 24 hours. The kids actually got out of school because of rain! Here are some pics from our place, Peyton actually took the first 2 for a photo contest at school.

We are going to attempt to join this century and start our own blog! We hope this will be a better way for our out of town friends and family to see all those pictures we take (meaning Sarah- have you noticed I'm never in any of the pics!) and to know what is going on in our lives. Hope you enjoy!
